I’m Steven Ellis, a two-time MLB Draft pick and former pitcher in the Chicago Cubs organization.

I created TryoutCamps.com to make it easier for players to find real opportunities to play professional baseball.

When I was coming up, it was hard to track down tryout information. Teams didn’t always publish dates. Info was scattered or out of date. I remember how frustrating that was — and how important it was to be in the right place at the right time.

This site brings everything together in one place: verified tryouts from MLB teams, partner leagues, and independent clubs — with the key info players need to show up prepared.
