The American Association Futures Camp
Every July, the league hosts a tryout camp in conjunction with its All-Star Game called the American Association Futures Tryout Camp. This post-MLB Draft event features representatives from all 12 American Association teams, along with MLB scouts.
At the Futures Camp, players compete in an open tryout setting and are evaluated directly by coaches and scouts from across the league. It’s widely recognized as one of the premier independent professional baseball tryout events of the year.
